Volunteer FAQ

How do I volunteer?

To volunteer, complete the sign-up above or reach out directly to a ministry leader if you have a specific role in mind.

Is there volunteer training?

Most ministry areas provide training and support for volunteer roles. For example, Liberty Corner Kids and Student Ministry provide training, resources, and support for teachers and leaders.  Worship Ministry holds training sessions throughout the year tech volunteers, ushers, greeters, and communion servers.

Are there requirements to volunteer?

All volunteers  who work with children and students must complete a background check.

Can children and students serve?

Service is an important part of Liberty Corner Kids and Student Ministry. Both provide regular opportunities for children and youth to give back through service, including monthly Give Love Away projects, student-led drives, summer mission projects, and more.

Work Day

Saturday, October 29 | 8 am - 12 pm

Help wanted!  The Trustees are calling all willing and able weed pullers, brush trimmers, and haulers, to help restore the church grounds that were severely damaged during this summer’s drought.  We will be meeting on Saturday, October 29 at 8:00 am near the Center Court kitchen pass through counter for coffee, donuts, and bagels before we tackle our restoration project.

Please join us for fellowship, fun, and a chance to get some exercise while breathing fresh air as we restore our beautiful grounds.  All ages welcome! Don't forget to bring work gloves, rakes, weed pullers and clippers.

To volunteer or for more information, contact Mary Beth Bubert.
